Who has Tint?

Anyone here have their windows tinted - not just on the Fbods, I mean any at all?

I know that it's still illegal and all - but I see some people with tint now and then.......

If you do - do you recieve much hassle about it?

I had maybe 35% on the sides, never had any trouble with it for 2 years, (been throught roadblock and such) then I got ticketed out of no where at a road block.

I don't think you would get pulled over just for that, but if you do get pulled over, better put your windows down just in case.

I stop people almost daily JUST for the tint. Wrote about 350 tint tickets last year alone. I got 14 in one day last week . I'm trying for 400 this year which will net me the Deluxe GE Toaster Oven .

Upon hearing that I believe I'll hold off on some tinting until it becomes legal to have.

I need it though.......

I friend at work has his S-10 truck tinted and it makes such a big difference in the amount of heat transfer on hot days........

Leather with no tint sucks.

No sense in just tinting the rear.......

From what I have read, your not aloud to have tinted window(s) (unless factory) in Vancouver. Although most cops don't seem to do anything about it. Not sure about greater vancouver.
Any tinting on the side window(s) that passes the driver's line of sight is ileagal(unless factory). Most cops don't do too much as long as they can see what you are doing in your car. It's mainly a safety issue for the police when they aproach your car.
Any tinting on the front window(s) is ileagal(unless factory).

This what the laws were about 3 years ago. The tinting laws might have bean changed by now.

along with factory tint being ok.
Anything behind the drivers shoulder can be tinted. Anything beyond the drivers shoulder is eligal.

Thats to my understanding anyway.

Yup, you got it right on Ken.

You can go ahead and get it tinted dude, the chances of you getting ticketed for them is slim, unless you come to Richmond, then your just asking for a ticket.

Speaking of which, does anyone want to purchase a set of headlight covers?
