No, not the khaki shorts, bandana and boy-scout style, but i want to go with my buddies, a few beers and just hang out under the stars with a fire and tents and such. Since most of us drive such low cars (i MAY be able to get my mom's Jeep for the trip, i doubt it) it cant be way up in the mountains, we want our cars close-by. Well, not like right there, but not to be liek 1000 miles away. Know of any camp sites? Pref. in BC, but could be in USA.

STAVE LAKE
your cars should be fine on the road as long as you watch out for pot holes and stuff. i would recomend going in a bigger group though as i have heard of stories of people getting the **** kicked out of them when everyone is drunk.

Where's Stave lake?
And yeah, we're going with 8-10 people, 4 or so cars, maybe 1 car and a big van. Bear mace does wonders, too

its at the border to mission from port moody or maple ridge or what ever borders it. im pretty sure if you go down loughheed hwy it has some signs pointing which way to go but im not positvie. it is a resevoir for a dam and there are lots of other lakes and stuff around it with provincial campgrounds that will not let you drink if anyone is underage. find a road map, im sure it will say how to get there

Alouette Lake in Maple Ridge.

No wait, don't go there, I'm going this weekend and I don't want you to take up my spot!
