You may as well carry a gun in Canada.

It's the same charge - if you get caught with a stun gun.

In conclusion - Illegal as hell!

they are illegal in Canada...you are better off with a can of mase. Atleast then you won't get charged with possesion of a weapon. If you really want to do some damage, just empty the can on the guy and when he is trying to tear out his eyes, beat him with you fist!. Cheap, I know, but very effective!

My friend orders them all the time on Ebay. the 100,000 volt little guys are like 7 bucks USD and when you zap somebody's arm, they go limp and drop like a brick. They go up to 500,000 volts for these series and run off a single 9v battery for quite some time. About the size of a motorola timeport cell phone!
I think we're putting an order on ebay for some more (plus some pepper spray pens) if you're interested message me via MSN and i'll try to hook you up.

if you wanna get yourself a tazor for just a few uses, what you can do is get the black box out of a disposable flash camera and hook 2 leads up to it. works like a charm.

Be careful though... they pack a punch.

Well...
Putting a fork into an electrical socket will shock you pretty badly, and that's about 120 volts.
Taser's 120,000 volts. My friend said his arm went limp for 3 hours. I'll try and get them for ya soon, but uh....be careful!

You can't really compare the two... a tazer doesn't have much current... but the wall does. Put a fork in a socket while you are grounded and you will be a crispy critter.

its all current that kills you. no current means no shock. you can get a hell of a lot more current from a 120v plug in your wall than you will ever get out of a tazer. you might have 500,000 volts in a tazor, but it will have like .000005 Amps or something like that.
it will still give a very good kick though.

btw .015 Amps stops your heart
