Todd, I don't know the differance between 1st and 2nd gen vipers? I need to do my homework on them before I consider one. I drove one once, I think it was a 95, wasn't the RT model though. Let me know in a nutshell please the differance and which one is more desirable. Why are older vipers more expensive?

I did see the new 04 SRT-10 Viper. they start at $81,000.00.
They have 500hp and 525 torque rating.
Not enough cash in the kitty for a new one.

Dream Ride that I'd like to own a feww years down the line: Replica Cobra 427 with a super charged 5L in it.
Dream ride now: My car in the 11's...next year I plan on retiring the "goldmember" from beater duty and buying somthing nicer. I'd like a Ford 150 Harley edition or a new Ram w/the stock 20's. The other option is that I would buy a solid 5L and make it into a nice corner carver. A friend of mine is heavy into the track days at Mission w/his C4 and he is turning me on to it big time! I figure a nice 90 hatch for about $6000-7000, then the typical bolt-ons and a Maximum Motor Sports "track-box" kit.

I'll cough up $60,000.00 canadian no problem. Todd is right, the first thing I thought when I saw the price was too much. My offer sounds fair. Nice condition and low mileage. That's a dream car.
