I work for the Chilliwack School District as a maintenance electrician, although I'm an electrical contractor on the side.

In the very near future, my own business will consume all of my time and the whole "working for someone" thing will be out the door.

Having a boss sucks - they always seem to think they are in charge.......

I'm a f/t student at UBC in Electrical Engineering right now.

But I got a f/t job lined up at Epson already thanks to my previous co-op term there.

Of course, I can't afford an LS1 yet, I've got the lowly L98.

Thumbs up

IT Consultant/Systems Analyst for a global industrial software company specializing in automation, peformance monitoring systems and data historization.

I'm an entrepreneur by natrue so I'm in the process of starting my own company specializing in Intellectual Property with an emphasis on Internet Technology.

I have shares in a family-owned catering and entertainment company so I do some IT Adminstration tasks for the business in my spare time.

I also volunteer 10-15 hours a week with several youth groups.

*** Nice thread...its nice to match a board identity with an occupation...it explains a LOT in many peoples cases ***

I drive professionally....or so thats what they call it. I drive enough miles to circle the globe 6 times in a year. Im always on the lookout for Fbods. Chased down one guy in a red SS not to long ago (JDX???) on hwy1. I passed him doing 140 trying to get his attention but no go. Maybe next time.

Beware of the blue Freightliner.

Nope, 32 wheels actually....so bigger....an 8 axle super train. Its got 4:10 gears so i was maxed out at 140km@2100 rpm. Keep in mind I could never do that with a load on....unless I had some gravity working with me.
