What a day!

Wow, after a 14 hour day working on the car, the motor is swapped and we will finish up tomorow by bolting on the intake, water pump, radiator, and torque arm.

If anyone wants to assist with the final touches and witness the startup, come on over around noon or early in the afternoon. Any help is always appreciated

I will post my official thank yous tomorow once all is done...

Craigy, what kind of measures do you have to take to break in your new motor? This is assuiming it's a new motor.

Phew... I just woke up... I'm feeling like shaun should My back hurts, my legs are sore and i just plain hurt, hehehehe

I feel like an old man

And I didn't even do much!! Out of shape you say? Nahhh!! hehehe

I wish I could be there for the firing up tho Craig! I'm sure its gonna sound killer! Good luck with it and and I hope all goes well!

Thanks to Shaun for having us, Mike for the awsome food (too bad you missed the ribs and steak for supper!! Damn were they ever tastey!!) and beer and Craig for buying the new motor to let me see how things happen, hehe

Armen, its not a new motor (maybe 2,000 miles on it?) so i'm thinking it was just broken in and then removed from Steven's car? *shrug* Criag knows more no doubt...

BUT, a question arrose last night when I was thinking about the install... Criag, why didn't you wait to install the motor along with the Turbo's? I mean, Steven brough the motor up here, you install it, and then you go back down to his place to install the turbo's... more then likely having to remove the beast again?

Unless your going to wait quite a while before doing the Turbo's and your just too eager (as I know I would be, hehe)

I'll post the pictures that I took soon as well... My camera is like 5 years old tho so it doesn't take the greatest of photos any more

I'm looking forward to reading later on how today goes! Good luck guys...

Jeff
