Wow! Only went for a day but had a LOAD of fun! Me and my buddy took the GTI up to visit my mom who lives in seachelt. I couldn't believe it but there's an empty 2-way road that has a speed limit of 80, it extends for 21 kms
I punched it 120 km/h around those corners and 200 on the straights, it was soooo fun!!! DOn't worry i didnt do anything stupid, if the turn was sharp, i'd slow down to like, 80 or 70 if i couldn't see...but the straightaways were a diff story!
Man!! When we got there all we could see was a load of 16-18 year old HOT girls walkin around wearin next to nothing walking around at night; no guys, just alot of HOT HOT HOT girls!!!
2 huge Moose ran out in front my car; they're HUUUUUUGE!!! Freakly looking things!
There's just alot of motels and alot of nothing, but it was alot of fun!! Awsome place to rip it around the long, lonely smooth roads! Nice area for sure!
I'm going back in a bit with a couple of friends in my buddy's 5.0 Stang and we're going to party it up with all the hotties
It's a trip i recommend for the night or two...you could always get smashed if you get bored!
Nice trip overall, cept for the late Ferry...but we met the HOTTEST girls on the ferry...wow!
It's 3:10 pm in the afternoon and i think i should go to bed now...goodnight

Glad you had a good time. But Craig's right in alluding to the fact that you can't predict when a deer or moose will leap in front of you, panicking from the side bushes. I've had close calls around Merritt and Princeton, and if I'd been doing 200 (or even 120), I'd likely had bit it.

But don't let me spoil your fun. Especially with the hotties

Just make sure that your buddy with the 5.0 doesn't wrap it around a pole like most mustang owners do.

 

not that i'm disagreeing with that statment but sometimes when your at those speeds thats your only hope. you hit them straight on with a low veichle it will kick hte legs out and the mouse will literally flip over you and land on the back of your car. i've seen it done.

 

Glad you had great time. It's beautiful country up there and because you have take a ferry to get there that's why the roads are empty I guess. Another great spot for hotties is up in Kelowna, the bars are just crawling with babes. I mention the fact my mom has a boat at the yacht club and the party is moved on the water. I have so many notches in my belt it's time to get another one if you know what I mean.
