Thumbs down Well, I got my scare of the week today

I decided to go for one last run with the 4.56 gears before I yanked the rearend out. Did a few hard 1/4mile runs and on the last one shifting to 3rd I get a BANG and the left side of the car drops to the bumpstop and swaps lanes . Turns out I snapped my leafspring right in the middle. I kicked it back into the leafpack and limped it home. So now I get to buy new springs, gears, and swaybar. . Dammit. So anyone know where the best place to buy a ring/pinion and some stiff leaf springs is? I hear the replacement GM gears are pretty stout so I may buy them. Need to do some more homework.

Try richmond gears.I have them in my 81. They are a little softer than other gears(so I've heard) and can take more shock without breaking.
