I was shocked when I heard my name called for a 1st place award at last weekends "World Of Wheels" at the Tradex Convention Center in Abbotsford! I also got Boyd Cottington and his wife who was signing autographs there to sign a poster of them.

IF I had registered for the auction though, it could have been a VERY expensive weekend.

I was looking at the '67 black Maro that was in the auction and really liked it but I figured it was going for a big number.

At the auction the owner drove it on the block. bidding went to $27,500. auctioneer said there was $120k in the car and reserve was $40k.

then she says, "...to hell with it" No reserve.

It got hammerred down at $27,500.

If I had registered to bid.........I'd own that car right now.

Paint and body was PERFECT.

Actually that was on Friday during set up. I took them off and put the covers on for the actual show

My class was Conservative Domestic.. I guess it was that since I didn't even hear my name called..
