Thumbs up

Superior is very good at was he does, very experienced and smart. He has built some very impressive cars

He is a great guy to deal with and as mentioned his prices are very reasonable. I know Jaz and Perry would both recommend him

Although you got Mike S offering and well nobody is going to give you a better price As well he knows the LT1/LS1 inside out

Just for the record

Craig posted this and I caught him on Messenger and called dibs on the most of the car He made it clear to me that he wasn't going to part it out 100% he was just considering it to cover other expenses and priorities. There is no need to bash him if he has changed his mind, I am happy to hear he will be keeping it. He is having to make some difficult decisions and well we should take the time to help him out if we can not bash him because we can't get the parts we were wanting I'm a vulcher myself and he has a lot of nice parts I could use......but I would rather see him spool up the Turbos and launch at 4000rpm

I agree with Johnny, I think the bashing and sarcastic comments should be kept to yourself. How could some of you guys be irritated at somebody's hardship? He did say he ws gauging interest.

For the record: Me and Craig worked out a deal long before he even decided to buy Steven's turbo 383. I sold him my old 383 Parts and we worked out a trade.

He is giving me: His RK Sport Headers and Borla Cat-Back. I have ALREADY PAID for this stuff. As well he is selling me his cc305, 95 Opti, Cloyes TC, 95 cover and Mezziere WP from his stock motor.

Craig: Hang in there buddy. With the help of a guy like Mike S (who knows his LT1/LS1 sh*t), you should be back up and ruuning. But remember to always have a back up plan. That's why when these cars become so modified they are unpractical for everyday use. Good idea to look for a beater.

If you don't mind my asking, what specific problems are you having with swapping out the motors? I couldn't directly infer from the above posts, but is it because you are trying to run a turbo with the 383? Best of luck.

I think Craig is just plain lazy & busy with work, acctually cuz he's so busy he's so lazy, just like I am, when you have time on your hands I'm sure he'd of fixed the problem by now.

Basically putting the motor in took a lot of time, we made a few mistakes, and there were big oil leaks afterwards. I had a small engine fire on the weekend, and the car will not run till i get the wires fixed that got burned. that still leaves the leak.... and I just dont have the time to get the car fixed right now.... hence the frustration .

Sorry man - someone posts that they:
no longer have time to work on their car
it's affecting their life
can't afford it cause they have to move out
made a costly mistake
doesn't have time to post parts - but wants serious enquiries

4 post later everything is gone or has been gone for a while
one offer of help later and it seems as though we are changing our mind on what to do.

Seems to me that someone is having a bad day and wanted attention.

If that's not that case then sorry.

May I suggest that in the future if one have parts for sale that one - lists the parts, put down some prices and have made a decision on what they are going to do, and not waste everyones time with a sob story and fishing for interest.

You want some support - that's fine, we have all been there and I rather you fix your project and be happy with it than give up.

You want to take a break and part it out - that's cool too - post parts and prices, everyone knows that preformance parts are not hard to sell - gauging interest in a 12 bolt or headers or Borla is a no brainer. We are all interested!

I'm not irritated at his hardship and I feel for the guy.
I just think the post was a waste.

whatever - lets move on.

On the contrary, I wanted this post to help me make a decision on whether to sell or not, and it is working as planned. Not only have I seen that there is interest in my parts (maybe it should have been obvious, oh well), but there was also an offer of help which I may never have received had I not posted.

I deeply regret that this thread wasn't as helpful to you as it has been to me.
