Okay **** so I just had to go this ONE building on Broadway pay this stupid 7.95 fee for something I don't even know about, but such is life. I drive to the building and go around back to see if there's any parking. Nope. Oh wait, this dude's leaving his spot, and the whole half block in front of him is a no parking zone, so I'll just pull a carlenght in front of him and put my reverse lights on. So the hippy takes his sweet time pulling out, and a meter maid shark pulls up RIGHT on my ***, and starts flailing his hands around. I'm thinking WTF to myself, and as soon as the dude leaves the meter maid TAKES my spot! Not only THAT, but he starts writing down my plate and is probably going to send ME a ticket in the mail! What the ****! Anyways so I shrug it off and get the hell out of there and pull into an alley a block East of Granville, to gain access to an Impark lot there. Of course, some JERK stops in the MIDDLE of the alley and puts his ****ing hazards on, so me and the 3 cars behind are STUCK. SO what now? We have to REVERSE onto Broadway street blindly one by one hoping we don't kill padestrians and back into speeding cars. There was so much traffic it was unbelievable, and I am surprised I didnt' get killed making that move. So FINALLY I get a spot, and I go up to the building and everyone's at lunch for the next two hours. Grrreeaaaat. So this day with no process cost me 40 bucks and/or my time fighting the ticket in court, and my sanity for the time being.
I'm going to get flamed for this but I had to rant. ****!

Hey, man, you can't pay with a CC via phone, you have to go in, in person and pay. You can't even mail a payment in, for 7 measly dollars, they make you show up in person. BTW how's selling the 2nd gen coming?

Stupidest drivers are in North Vancouver IMO, they drive slow & thats as stupid as it gets. I don't mind people cutting me off, I kinda like it

 

i dont understand what the problem is, ur story is just the usual crap trying to find parking in vancouver, live with it, its only gonna get worse... why didnt u go ask that focker why he took ur parking spot? if u had ur indicator on w/reverse lights, its urs... dont ***** out worrying if ur gonna get a ticket

guy in ally, why didnt u honk him, rather than making everyone reverse up?

i think the biggest problem here was that u weren't stern enough, if u want something, and ur within ur rights, GO GET IT, like the parking spot, or the guy who (incorrectly?) stopped in the ally..

also backing onto a road, whateves, i had to do it downtown last night... and i drive a blind spot, i mean camaro
