Yeah, thats why I would pull back on you. We were like a seesaw always going back and forth hehe.

That was a good matchup, I would say that if both our cars were running properly we are evenly matched.... I'm pretty happy with my 230 000km motor's performance!

Can't wait to see how you do against Andy

oh, i'm not worried about Andy...

me and you are evenly matched cause same mods basically... you DO have bigger heads, BUT the cam doesn't make use of it... so we basically have the same mods... I bet your our cars weigh about the same too.. thats another reason

ANDY's car weighs a good 200 more then mine i bet... well.. maybe not that much.. but still... enough for me to take him by at least a car...

I'll asume craig has 1.6 roller rockers which will spit out a higher lift number then your 1.55. If hes heads are bigger then yes hes cam is making use of it.

cc305's lobe lift is .340 if your running 1.55 then your rocker ratio is .527 lift on intake and exahust. Now craigs lift is going to be .544 rocker ratio lift. If hes heads flow better then he will make more power.

Thats only true if my engine actually sucks that extra air into the cylinders.

As for us being the same weight, remember I still have AC, and I just put a near 200lb 12-bolt in . I bet I weight at least 100 pounds more then you. But either way, we are evenly matched.... for now

Then maybe it's time to get a cam with more overlap so that you can create your own suction. This is one reason that you heads and cam boys should have thought of when you bought a cc305.

Payam saw the light and changed hes so that the cam can give those heads a good work out. Crack that intake open a little earlier and get that air in there.

You are assuming I bought the cc305 for it's N/A prowess. This cam is actually very friendly for forced induction, and that is why I bought it. It has workable overlap and a wide LSA, and is well suited to turbo or blower applications. The twin turbos I plan on running will make the most of the heads and cam I have in the car.

No man, that's not true. It's all in the heads if they can take more flow then flow you shall. As your rpm range changes that 2 hp can become 10 or 15 depending on where you are in your power band, Get it straight!

Dude it is true. You know it, well I guess you don't know it but it is.

It all has to do with the heads, volumetric efficiency and overlap. Are you saying that these things are not true? You dare doubt 50 years of motor theory and statistics because you feel that your right?

Thanx man, I always knew where the one in my pants goes! My colleague houman seems to disagree. Btw, you and matt have been a good inspiration to! Making fun of me set me thru the right path. LOL

the biggest gain you get from rockers is the fact that there is less friction over stock ones... obviously there is more lift... but that comes in less of a play....

going from 1.55-1.6 RR's isn't gonna give me 15 hp...

how about this... you buy me a set of 1.6's and if you're right, and i get over 5RWHP from em.. i'll buy the set off you AND buy you a set for you!

Pssst, not with your heads, I said you'd see gains with heads that can handle that kind of lift. I'm sure your fine with your setup.

remember... more air=more power..
if you have bigger heads dont' mean you'll flow more.. you'll beed bigger everything.. TB/MAF/all that junk

i still have a stock 48 mm
