Nitto 555Rs for the back in 315 35 17
Nitto 555RIIs for the front in 275 40 17

thats gonna be my tire setup soon as i get my ZR1s.. though that'll be my "street" track ... but good enough for all 3 purposes

if u want all out track rubber for auto-x get some nitto 555RIIs all around or kumho victoracers

for drag, gets skinnies and ETs in 15" wheels

275 40 17's are the ones but go for the firehawk tires. They are the best all-purpose tire.

BFG Geforce TA KD 275/40/17
i have them and they are ****ing great. a hell of a lot better than the eagle f1's. you don't have 17x11 rears so you can't put on 315's. unless you bought some 17x11 zr1's of course. for stock tire size i would go with the BFG's. huge difference

I had to sign a release to "Hold Harmless" Toyo if I used my Road Race RA1s on anything but the track, BUT they are without a doubt the longest lasting, best all round race tire. They are the spec tire for the Camaro Mustang Challenge Series and others in the States. I've converted from BFGs after decades of using "good ol 'merican rubber". My best lap times are always on what appear to be used up Toyos! The full depth tread versions are great rain tires, and if shaved they work wonders right out of the box for dry tracks too. No, I'm not a sales rep, they really work!

Yep, I've had their little plastic card for 2 years now. We've used them since late 1999. They will always last MUCH longer than BFG R1As, as I found out back then, when I took out the whole right side of the IROC at the Munroe Wa. NASCAR West track. I wanted to believe the BFGs were still good after only a few races, but I have a really dramatic video that shows they weren't...
I only started to use them when I couldn't get the "best" and had to settle for the "second best" tires I could find in a hurry...sometimes you have to find out the hard way
