Mission Results

I guess there was just Payam and myself there tonite. Though there was a nice third gen around. But Payam's car sure is a beast when it launches...

My results were inconsistent. I found the track good at the start, but deteriorated later on. I managed to get 4 runs in before the rain came at 9pm... I ran in the Domestic class but snuck into the outlaw class for my best runs...

My runs went a follows:

12.86 at 110.4 (2.16 60')
12.66 at 110.4 (2.0 60')
13.19 at 110.2 (2.4 60')
13.62 at 109.6 (2.7 60')

The last two runs are way out the window... Not a lick of traction. I spun so bad that I essentially stopped and started again at the launch. Oh well.

Next spring bodes well I think...

Hey I was there. It was hard to hook up on the track but I did manage for my best time a 13.895@100.39 in the 1/4mile

well .. close but no cigar

i ran a best of 11.4 @ 119 with 1.80 60.. that was a half assed nitrous run on a 100 shot .. 2 step launch at 5k, hauled the wheels up in the air about 2 feet (all i could see was the sky .. F*CKIN EH) then bogged like usual .. then i was running low on gas, so the slosh starved my pump (got no bucket on it) and my hobbs switch killed my N2O .. which is apparent from my lack of mph

next run i fuel up on 103 octane, jet up to 150 ... screw up my launch (creep fwd before launching)... and made another mistake of using a crappy gauge to air out the tires .. and was rnning 8.5 psi in them instead of the 10 that i wanted .. so it got WAY too scary and i let off .. basically an aborted run ..

then the GODDAM NFREAKING RAIN CAME IN

me and greg are gonna look into SIR for next weekend .. if they have a S/L event im borrowing a trailer and headin out to SIR ...

either way ... not a bad night .. i finally figuered out the damn car .. just needed one more stiking run ONE MORE !!

i did surprise a ricer civic that tried to do a ricer flyby on the way back though .. 150 shot hit in 4th gear at 4000 rpm sure does feel good the civic guy shat his pants and backed off soo much i couldnt see him anymore (or maybe he didnt really back off )

Very nice runs guys!

Chris- once you get some traction look for a 1.7 60' and say hello to a 12.3 run.

SID- so it was the driver all the time Did you spray in first gear or was it later?

I agree with you about one more run. Its damn tough to get things down right when you have to sit 45 minutes between runs. If I had three or four back to back runs within an hour, I would have had the numbers I wanted.

I was the third car to go next when the rain hit. I was hoping that was to be my best run...

Thanks for the support Zedzag.

Great runs Chris, do you have any mods besides those headers? I didn't show cause I new it would rain. Say good-bye to another racing season. I'm already thinking about next year and booked most of the summer off on holidays.
