Street tires

What tires would you reccomend for 16 inch wheels on the street that hook up really well. I am leaning towards ET Streets. This vehicle would not be driven in the rain.

Hey, sounds like you got the formula. I was quoted $226.00 per tire for 16/12.5/28's Et's, part number 3797. What do you have in around those measurements and price? And how many days to get them? Do you mount them as well? Are all of them radials?

Radials would be better due to the fact that it is illegal to run bias and radials at the same time.

Thanks Formula.

Oh, I would need two. One for the left rear and one for the right rear, hehehe!

If this is STRICTLY a dry weather tire I would go with the BFG DR or wait until June and go with the new MT Drag radial. I saw it at a Jobber show its pretty sweet.

I think the BEST all around traction tire for a daily driver even in the rain is the Nitto DR. In fact I'd probably take it over the BFG just cause it lasts longer and it arguable over which one hooks better.

The ET street will be all over the road and EASY to puncture I just bought some 26x11.5x15 I will be driving them JUST to the track and back (at the track of course Plus if you have bias ply in the back and radials in the front it not good.....

Hey 93, I am looking for two tires between 295/50/16-295/60/16. My money is burning a hole in my pocket. I have 9.5 inch wide rims.

I need wider than 255 especially with the 9.5" wheel. If anyone hears of tires being made for the 16" wheel, let me know, please.
