Stage 8 bolts

I will be installing some RK Sport headers into my car within the next week or two, and I was wondering whether I should get the 3/4" Stage 8 bolts or the 1" bolts. I shouldn't need anything other than bolts, WD40 (to remove bolts), and some gaskets... right? I have the stuff to block off and remove the AIR and EGR.

Thanks guys

I tried using Stage 8 bolts on my RK Sports.

Some of them would NOT fit due to the size of the bolt head (primaries were in the way).

You might be better off saving money and just running ARP header bolts.

Hmmm... that's good to know. Is there anything I can do to prevent them backing out? Can I use lock washers?

I personally havent had a problem with my bolts backing out. I just tightened them down after 50km and they havent come loose.

Not sure if lock washers would help that much

You won't have any problems with them backing out, just get some 3/8 ARP header bolts, after a few days of driving re-tighten everything and you will be fine, I have used these on the three sets of Headers I have had with no problems

OK, one last question to harass you guys with.
3/4 inch or 1 inch length?

Thanks

Edit: I think the 1 inch are the ones to get. Someone correct me if I am wrong... lol

OK... I don't think ARP makes a 1 inch bolt... lol. I am going to get ARP part # 400-1101.
