Sea to Sky Hwy today, just heard on the news that three cars collided(sp?) and seven people died

 

I was there

i mean .. i didnt see the accident .. but i was goin up to whistler in the morning .. the 99 was closed off in that section and we had to detour thru squamish ...

i got SUCH an eerie feeling going around the accident scene it wasnt even funny

god bless them and their family

 

damn thats horrible
they gotta fix that hwy

 

nothing wrong with the hwy .. i travel it twice every week ... they gotta fix the drivers

 

That sucks.

That highway is death machine.

May their families make it through their lives with as little suffering and pain as possible with a situation like this.

 

That HWY is real fun in the summer, but other then that, winter time is a death trap, cuz you get ice conditions & snow conditions out of the blue.

 

funny thing is .. the place where the accident was .. was a 4 lane straight away .. bare asphalt .. no snow .. no ice

 

A car drifted into a minivan causing it to cross the centre line and crash head on into an SUV. My bet is that the driver of the car was too tired to be driving and fell asleep. The accident had nothing to do with the See-Em-Die highway.

 

well that sucks eitherway, but driving to school & back everyday, I'm surprized how some of these drivers are still driving around, they are so clueless as to whats happening around them.

 

Their loss is terrible, my condolences to the surviving family members. It just goes to show anything can happen on a straight road.

 

there was no minivan. theysaid on the news lastnight that the tempest came across the centre line clipping the volkswagon and then going head on into the SUV and the volkswagon crossed after being hit and ended up off the other side of the road. i wonder if it was Jimbo i havent seen him in a while. anyway it happens that sucks for the families.

 

aww man this happens much to often.....

 

just heard this morning that one more person died today there!!!!!

 

.....crazy...
