Sandeep, any anger left in ya?

I'll b uy you a 12-pack to take care of the tenant below us. My dad's the landlord, and this guy seemed normal when we rented him the suite, now he seems phyco. It's the 2nd of the month and he still hasn't paid the rent, and he's a shady looking character who always sits on the curb and stares me down any time i park my car. Take care of him and there's a 12-pack involved
Eitherwise...what else is there to do?

Legally? If he doesn't pay, he has 10 days to come up with rent. This only occurs if you give him notice. The notice has to be on the prescribed form that is made up by the Residential ternancy Act. Believe me, he has more rights than you do. If he doesn't pay in 10 days, he has five days to move. If he doesn't move you can have his stuff siezed and then you can sell it.The bailifss will eveict him as well.

From personal experiences, I give the person one chance. If they don't pay on time one month, they are out the next. I am not going to rearange my schedule for someone who owes me and usually will always end up being late.

Get rid of the guy!!!! Do a search on the residential act and dowwnload the form. It's pretty self explanatory.

DON"T beat him, because he is alloweed to be there and you cannot force him out of a place that he has a contract with.

Otherwise yeah I'd help, although, a case of beer is pretty cheap for putting myself at risk and having to exert such massive amounts of physical labour. Hell, tyson gets millions for 30 seconds of fighting.
