Reputable place to purchase an engine in the LA area.
I have a 96 Firebird v6 that I'd like to put a new engine in (love that car). Does anyone know a reliable place to purchase the engine and then a reliable, honest mechanic to have it installed?

I've had good luck at R & R Automotive Engineering in Covina. They can do everything in-house from the machine work, assembly, installation. The owner, Raul Escamilla, has been in the business for many years.

www.lkqcorp.com never had a problem with them. i buy 3-4 motors a month from them.
