Raced a WS6 vert
Raced a WS6 vert
Entering the Mary Hill Bypass from the Port Mann eastbound this beautiful WS6 vert, looked like an 02 pulled up beside me and we waved at each other. Only one thing left to do on an open 2-lane highway. We both hit it and I pulled by him. Entering a turn I could feel my hawk wanted more room but I held my lane. I looked at him about 10 car lengths behind me and glanced at the speedometer I was doing over 150k's per hour. I better get my Hotchkis STB and SLP sub-frame connectors installed. That was the fasted I ever accelerated into a turn and it scared me for a second or two. I turn left at Pitt River and he went by waving again. I love these cars and the people that drive them are really cool.
We raced for a couple of k's by the time I was that far ahead. The turn I'm talking about is after the Shaunessy light on the bypass eastbound, you make a gradual left turn then it straightens out. Then you hit a sharper left turn before you go down to the Pitt River light. You have time to get your speed up then it turns left quite sharp. I dare anyone to try and take that corner faster than that. It ain't gonna happen unless you have something like a F1 formula car. I really don't like racing my own kind but it's hard to find someone to run against these days. I'm at work right now and I wish I was at the track parked beside you guys on the grass getting ready for my next run.
