sorry bro but they aren't going to check your radiator after you pull up to tech, they'll be afraid the car is way too hot & won't bother.

I so disagree with the way some of you guys are looking at this. That it is a MAJOR trouble to get rid of coolant when at the track. I just hope by being ignorant to the rules someone else doesn't get hurt cause I sure know some of you don't give a second though to not following rules.

I agree.. You can always check the over flow. Or they can make you wait. I would not want to be the one too show up and spew Antifreeze all over the track. Just be safe and empty it before. It's not that hard.

This is true, rules are rules and they are put into place for a reason. But i'm thinking whos car here actually leaks coolent? If it has to do with crashing and your rad busting out a hard hit like that might break other things, oil, tranny fluid... eh?

If anyone of you use dexcool use this as an excuse (as if you needed one) to get rid of that pink SHI*T!!!! You need to really flush it out well before you go to the green (better) coolant. It takes quite a few flushes to make it look like water again. You dont need coolant here unless you have cooling issues already, or until that 3 weeks a year where it MIGHT get cold enough to freeze. And seriously guys, dump the coolant out of the rad. If you have ever driven through a puddle of it you know what I mean when I say it is very slick. Bad enough that ther POS fwd drag water onto the track, we dont need coolant added to that.

coolant takes a long time to dry up and is very slippy. And even if your car is newer than 96 or has the closed loop system, as soon as it is modified in any way (headders.ect) it now needs water. And yes they do check coolant resivoirs!!
