Highest I've ever seen locally buddy.

LOL Corrected numbers are the number you want to look at. THAT is what will tell you how your car will compare to others.
MY UN Corrected numbers for the blue car hurt peoples feelings. 411hp and 436tq
I actually posted Stephs Corrected numbers wrong. they are actually 280.10hp and 382.27tq. Smog legal through the cat!
This car has nothing but a CAI, headers and a Cat back for power. 119,000 miles(192,000Km) on the car. Engine was changed by GM some time before 70,000(113,000Km) miles when we bought it. I have replaced the Opti, water pump and intake gaskets. other then that it is stock intake to oil pan, throttle body to flex plate

As for corrected vs non, they are both important since uncorrected numbers would be more consistent with a run at the track on the same day with the same weather conditions as the dyno run.

He also put the emphasis on "was" when it should have been on "A". For you we'll put the emphasis on your DYNO numbers.
Good numbers people. I wish I would have come but my car is in pieces right now.
I will redyno my car when the next time comes maybe since I will be adding a few things.
I never go by the corrected numbers since we are at sea level anyway. Noone I know of uses those figures. To each is own though.
Payam > No nunmbers then?

?u still gotta keep temps in consideration .. aka i dyoned on a day that was close to 30* out .. if u dyno in 5* .. of course u'll make a lot more power
and also, SNK is in richmond .. as we all know .. beneath sea level
It will either give you actual numbers, or SAE corrected for temperature and barometric pressure. My actual numbers were 5% higher then the corrected numbers in my sig (basically 450 rwhp and 480 rwtq).
I had 150 jets in the nozzle, but:
1. The NOS nozzle is only rated for 125 crank hp shots
2. the fuel jet was too big, and the AFR was in the 10's lol
It ended up giving me about 110 rwhp.

If you want highest SAE numbers u have to go on a hot day, I was told that the engine power won't be affected as much once your at WOT with temperature like SAE persumes, so if you go on a cold day & dyno 400 actual, you'll prolly get 5% taken out depending, while if you go on a hotday, chances are your intake temperatures won't be increased as much as the outside temperature for differences, so you'd rather loose out a few ponies due to hot weather but most have a correction factor of over 1.0 or at 1.0.
Basicly most of the high NA HP guys say they get higher SAE numbers in the hot weather because of this, guys like Grees on the board that made 404RWHP said he only lost about 3rwhp actual when he dynoed in the hot weather but his correction factor was just below 1.0, while when he went on a cold day he gained 3rwhp in the cold weather but lost a ton in the SAE correction factor.
So it depends, SAE correction factor is based upon a bunch of mathmatical formulas which dictate the correction factor according to baro pressure, temp, humidity etc... in the real world its not so much accurate as you'd like to think, thats why I want to go on a hot day now!
My numbers from last time increased by 13RWHP & it was a much hotter day this time then the last, I made no changes except changed my valve spring which wasn't broken the last time I dynoed cuz it went about 2 weeks ago.
So lets get another dyno session going!
Matt.
