If you asked they gave the corrected graphs.

Twitch, I did log my AFR with the wideband kit. It is spot on accurate! Unfortunately the AFR was not graphed with the hp/tq.... I can try to send you what I have but it will take some explaining to make sense of it lol.

N/A results were terrible. corrected peak HP was 319 rwhp, with an AFR of 14.5-15! had some serious KR too as a result of the lean condition and scalding air temps.

I think I've figured out the problem tho. we left the hood closed, and the IATs reached 150 degrees F. This will cause the MAF to measure less air, and the mixture will go way lean as we saw.

Later on we did the nitrous pulls with the hood open and IATs were only 90F. You can see a 40 rwtq gain across the board before the nitrous activates at 3600 rpm at an AFR of 12.8 - I think I would have seen 350-360 rwhp with the hood open N/A based on this.

Well, all I can say is I was pleased with my numbers to say the least!!! 319.4RWHP and 336.8RWTQ ....not bad for bone stock.

A big thx to Matt for setting this up.

It was finally great to put some faces with the names. You guys are a good group of people and you did a good job of making feel welcomed. Im glad I made the trip down. Thx.

Wow. That noticeable a difference? I wish I'd seen your runs.

No prob I was just curious to see the befor and after AF ratio but it sounds like it got all screwed up anyways. I wonder why they dont they put the AF ratio on the graphs like resnicks ?

Have you tuned it with your cam yet ??

Kaos man, Awsome numbers !! where were the kooks ?

They use an LM-1 wideband setup which they download to the computer after each run. Resnick probably uses a built-in dynojet wideband which can be incorporated on the hp/tq graph.

Either way they do a good job of showing you the correlation - its just you get the info on 2 sheets instead of 1.

I didnt do any tuning N/A cuz I dont have software yet. I dont think there is much to be gained anyway cuz when the car is moving or the hood is open, the AFR is 12.8 which is right where I want it.

Dave, basically I wanted baseline numbers before I put the headers on. I was really hoping Chris would have his car ready so I could see his AF numbers and how rich he is running. Im already running rich on the top end with the stock tune...roughly 12.5@2000 and 11.5@6000. Putting the headers on without tuning is probably going to make it even worse.

I think Im going to make a decision soon on what tuning program to go with. As of right now, Im leaning towards HPtuners.

Craig, your NA numbers seemed low to me. With that cam I think you should be in the 350+rwhp range. I didnt notice if you had headers or not but if you dont, thats probably a big part of your problem.

But then, WTF do I know.

Hey everyone, My numbers on the other hand were
more disapointing at : 238.2 rwhp & 281.2 rwtq. on
a bone stock lt1 SS . hopefully those numbers
go up better when I do the header install, definately
need more mods. My AFR was at 11.6 as well.

Thanx again to Matt for setting this up for us & to the
folks @ SNK for doing a great job. It was great
finally meeting you guy's face 2 face & learning alittle
tech stuff as well.
Cheers.

Steven...

LOL Corrected numbers are the number you want to look at. THAT is what will tell you how your car will compare to others.

MY UN Corrected numbers for the blue car hurt peoples feelings. 411hp and 436tq

I actually posted Stephs Corrected numbers wrong. they are actually 280.10hp and 382.27tq. Smog legal through the cat!

This car has nothing but a CAI, headers and a Cat back for power. 119,000 miles(192,000Km) on the car. Engine was changed by GM some time before 70,000(113,000Km) miles when we bought it. I have replaced the Opti, water pump and intake gaskets. other then that it is stock intake to oil pan, throttle body to flex plate

BTW Bunker people from other staes post Corrected numbers because you do not have the ***** to go dyno with them
