Over 500 RWHP plus/problems

You are probably thinking > where is the sheet? No numbers released until I get everything fully confirmed on what I have to do. I am going on a dyno jet to see if we can make sure everything is correct. For the amount of boost I ran I believe the numbers should have been higher. I will say that it is over 500 rwhp but I want to see what I get on the dyno jet first. Some people say that the dyno dynamics takes out more or reads lower. I have always used the dynojet and generally used the one today for tuning. Now to get the true numbers.
The wastegate spring was a problem and the Nitrous wouldn't work either. man what a day. The one time I actually want to spray, it wouldn't work Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Jason > when we put the new spring in the waste gate , it stuck on the way home. I rerouted it and we have it fixed. No more 30 pounds until I get the new spring or get a better one that actually fits LOL

Oh! and > Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Not yet

I will post pics of the dyno sheet after I confirm a few things on the dyno jet.

PS: After speaking with 2 buddies of mine says the same thing. He expected bigger numbers so > having said that > I will see what happens

Thanks

Duane

Good luck bro,

I'm not much of a fan of dynos because their readings vary so much. The only really test of a cars power is on the track. I wouldn't care if the dyno I do my tunning this year didn't have a hp curve. The A/F are the readings I want anyways.

the only dyno i like is a progressive acceleration engine dyno, that will give you the real deal and is the utmost in accurate. but for most it is too hard to get done, and is pricey. but its just what i like

The car did a good run at 490 at 23 psi and 528 torque, with the wrong map. I have one for pump gas and one for race gas. The timing is much higher on the race gas map. Ron's laptop battery died and could not upload the other progam on the TEC. The car would have put out over 500 with ease if we had done that.

As we spoke I gave out the secret. The other dyno run he hit 515 wheel hp and didn't want to say anything because I ran 33 psi. I knew that the car had more in it.

So at 10 psi less I ran almost the same number and could have run the same if we had the fuel map uploaded.

No more boost as the wastegate spring was maxed out. I wanted to hit that high 550 rwhp mark but with this problem could not.

No nitrous because the guy had been empty. No spray kit for the intercooler either.

So, 490 and 528 is a good number. We know that this turbo will hit over 550 with the new map which we will upload today. Get a new spring, some nitrous and go back to the dyno in a month.

Nice bike by the way Trey.
Thanks for coming along Dave as well.

We have it on video and will post it asap.

Also, even though I had hit the 500 mark already, I do not want a spot on the 7MPOWER just yet I want the third spot first.

Thumbs up

eh. Not bad, I guess.

Seriously though, it's cool that that turbo is finally looking like it's going to put down the numbers it should. Now I'm looking forward to seeing how it runs at the track
