I think only changed those rules because some factory cars go 11's without any or very minimal modification, so not letting them run in a stock car kind of left them in a tight spot because then well they can only race on the street....because if I spent $100,000 on a viper or Z06 and put some dr's on it and ran 11's i wouldn't want to put a cage in it.

Well, I am assuming I shouldn't have much in the way of problems at the track. My set up is basically pretty simple and mundane.

yeah the rule was to accomodate stock and near stock cars (especially convertibles), so engine mods are not allowed. Stupid but true. As long as your cam doesnt sound lumpy you should be fine. maybe tune your idle a bit higher if you are worried about that.
