Interesting. I have had too Durangos and so far no real serious problems. I know the ball joints are a real weak spot though.

I certainly think the CTS V is a viable contender. Any ideas on price range? $70k?

My dad was the 1st or 2nd in BC to get a durango. We got it in late 97 as the 98 model year. Ask Johnny or Phil, I used to drive it to school in grade 12(I thought I was cool ). So that initial first run probably had tons of problems that would have been worked out by later vehicles. I could let you know every problem but it could take a while.

Im not sure what line of work your in, but from the sounds of it I would lean towards the Caddy as well or possibly a bimmer. Both would be classy units to own and good for impressing possible clients.

Dodge Magnum with Hemi or Chrysler 300 with Hemi. Hell as long it's got a Hemi I buy it

Ok Shaun this is the best LOGICAL idea

Get a Subaru WRX and DON'T MOD IT!!!

You will get good KPL and still have some thing kool at a very fair price.

Plus it will leave more money for the T/A and kidd's

I'd first vote for a C5/ZO6, since I've driven a Z06 I know they are a very sweet car. And can be very driveable for daily use. But the whole 2-seater can be a setback for a daily driver. A C5 vert would also be nice, but you already have a vert. Kind of seems pointless to me to have "two" supercars: The TA and a C5. So for my "reality" choice, I'm liking the CTS-V Alot! 400 LS6 with a 6 speed, 4 doors. A more relaistic BMW M5 type of car. I would also consider an M3 or if the budget allows an E55 AMG. 469 hp and runs 12's stock.....

Too many choices.

I'm not a fan of the 300C. Looks to me like a car that crashed into a chrome picket fence and drove away with it stuck to the bumper.

I see where you're going Shaun and its a reasonable suggestion to part with a sunfire in your business - why accept financial advice from someone who drives a $9995 car? Obviously you haven't profitted from your own advice... or so the image-theory says.

Thats largely why I have the SS in pewter. The minivan or truck or 240SX are for the job sites and commuting (respectively), but when I am meeting one on one with the individual who makes the financial decision for a project, a pewter SS conveys a rather nice image (actually, much better than if I had Black, Red, etc... something special about those light metallic colours). Not overly priced (so not pretentious), but powerful with a 'hint' of sophistication.

I think a very attractive ride would be an M5. Four doors with ample seating for clients, though I don't suppose you normally drive your clients around per se... but the room would be there, just in case. And German engineering always conveys an image of success, IMO. But this is a tad expensive.

It may be that many BMWs all look alike to some, but I think this one has enough exclusivity to command respect.
