Steve Thank god this Kid was not a member to any of the car clubs. It would cause troubles where the Car clubs do not need it. If he became a member Then things wuld be rough for us for a while.
I have only had one problem with a Car club member but he came around & paid us. Now there is no problems

Most of the time I get along with other car clubs & their members. Except for on the staging lanes at the track

For me & Dan if we take something we pay for it Unless we are told we can have it at no cost then we try to do other things to make up for it.

 

Thanks you guys. Just thinking on how I am to deal with this kid now. I know about where he lives at But I dont want to go get the t-tops because that would mean the cops get involved.

Right now I dont think Sheriff Edwards' Guys need that right now.
Nor do I think its worth going to small claims court for $75. Threats have never been my strong point. Nor have I thought they would do any good.

 

I also went the long road with the person who got to me. I got SOME money(about a third). Numeruos phone calls loaning of parts. I had him out to my house on a week i put in 60 hours of work to tune his car for an afternoon. You guys know me. When I say I will help I am there.

In the end he was chasing an electrical problem and tring to replace every thing in site tring to get there. i even lost my laptop screen over it. not sure how but it is flaked out every since.

I have chalked it up and for now everyone If there is a transaction with money I get the money when I am done or pull out what I just spent the day doing.

I have only really been burned twice from people on the board. It happens. I move on eventually

heck If I can find someone who can burn a GOOD chip for my 87 Iroc for a good price I would Buy them a Case of beer & even give them some money lol. May even cook them a steak dinner.


Ellis has came through when Dan needed help chasing down a problem in his 95 last summer. Ellis gave us some hints But wasnt sure because it could of been anything wrong with the car.
Come to find out it was a spark plug wire hitting headers.

Sorry to hear you got burned cowgirl. This happens to all of us once in awhile. I've got nothing but great things to say about the people I've met on this board and their good will is unbeleiveable. I still have faith in the human race, most of the time.

 

Oh I am not worried about the Ex long haired Hippy (Ellis) I know hes a good guy He belongs to both TWN(r) & PNWCC. We joke around at the tracks & Such.

 

Well Finally we got the money from the dude $5 short but no big deal.

He emails me like 2days after I get the check. DONT cash it yet. wait a couple weeks.
Well I am waiting until my husband gets back from out of the county & hes going to cash it when he gets back. With out having any contact with me for a week or so.
