Nürburgring Nordschliefe

An email from a friend in Munich....

------------

What a weekend!

Went up to the Nürburgring Nordschliefe to meet up with some other M5 and M3 owners I know from the bmwm5.com forum. There were hundreds of cars, and a lot of them going on the track - Got a good 110 pictures and about 30-40 minutes of video footage.

I'm uploading the pics now and I'll post you the link once they are all there. Video footage will be uploaded somewhere else (got anywhere I can put them for public download???) when I get around to editing it and exporting it as mpegs.

Got a FLYING lap in a tuned M5 with a very skilled driver.. WHOA, ****ing hell, MADNESS! Some of the guys got rides with Ralf Kellners in their own M5's, he's a Le Mans driver and knows how to drive a car

You would have liked it, shame you couldn't be there.

I hate him, I hate him, I hate him sooo very very much, hehehe... Lasse drives a 2002 M5... And his job in life is to torment me with all the great cars that he gets to drive/see over there

I can't wait to watch the video! I'll post a link when he manages to find a place to host it... No doubt the server will be mangled as just about all of bmwm5.com will be downloading it So it might take awhile to find a suitable hosting site.

you can buy a pretty nice M3 in germany for 35,000 euros, prices for the cars are cheap because they are all domestics there

I think that porsche is a GT3, in which case, that wing would actually HELP it as it screams around the track @ 300 km an hour

It also looks like its just bolted on the stock spolier, I'd say just for the racing that day

I hope so anyways
