My Crash

Yah I crashed my second gen,the trunk was wrecked same with the backup and signal lights, but the dilemna is should I report to ICBC because its all in the family <backed into dads truck>. Is there any rule saying i have to report or can I fix it myself that is only an option cause I dont want my insurance to sky rocket.
Im guessing $2000 in damage

You do not have to report it. How is your dads truck?

Kaos is right, you don't have to report it if both parties agree on repairs. I'd find out how much your insurance would go up with a claim first. It might work out to be cheaper than the $2,000.00. Sorry to hear about the accident, these cars are decreasing in numbers by the day. I just had a big truck run a red light on the Lougheed highway at the Red bridge in Coquitlam. Good thing I checked my right side before I proceeded otherwise there'd be one less hawk and maybe one less drum. I should have taken my f-body off the road by now.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Is the frame damaged at all?

What kind of condition was your car in to start? I think I have some 81 tail lights in usable condition (some cracks, but nothing major - definately not to be considered good condition).

I hope everything works out for you.

I have an 80 Z28 bumper and taillights here. I also have a pair of earlier taillights too. Also have trunk lids and spoilers here too as well as Z28 flares if those died. Do not go to ICBC unless you do not have the $$$ to repair the truck. They will raise rates etc.

My dad's truck is fine I hit the bumber,I need tailights, trunk & trunk mounts, Ibeleive that is all.
before the crash the body was in great condition no bad bumbs just paint flaking.

how much for the parts and where are you <grantc and CoryM>
the frame is fine.If the price is right i'll save up and send my brother to pick them up,if you are at the coast.

The bad news is that my buyer backed out because of the crash he beleives there may be unseen damage to the car so I am going to keep it and try to make it run strong in the 13's
<ps it was a freind who I was selling to so now that i think about it ,he may have been all talk.>.
