My car is officially F*CKED!

Ok so after thinking what could I have done wrong/are my heads bad, is a coil bad, is an injector leaking, what is going on that my car ran 111.5mph in the 1/4 this friday & shakes while under load, I think I finally came up with an answer, unfortunetly its not that great.

First off let me explain this, every car I've ever worked on was extremely fast except my own, its either one thing or another, after fideling around with my 93, now 95 I've yet to be fast why? I found out, I'm cursed, & if you think its funny I'll punch you in the face, thats how serious I am. I seriously have been cursed, after doing this cam swap, putting new clutch in, flywheel, afr hydra rev kit you name it just this time around cuz my car gave up, I finally thought to myself "ok, after all these years car seems to be running nice" then I went on the HWY, I got the same F*CKING vibration I always had in 6th gear, I"ve replaced everything, I also have a hesitation every once in a while, but at WOT its all good except its not as fast as I want it to be well, guess what, today after F*CKING around with my car & all this week, I noticed spark plug #8 is wet, well guess what, its fuel, now I was worried, why you ask? Because I have went through everything & the last thing it could be is a bad plug or the worst ever, now I changed the plug & it ran ok but then started acting up again, I know the coil is firing & I swapped injectors, wires, now a plug & the next one is got fuel on it again, so ok I know its a pain to do a compression test on our car but I figured what the hell I'll do it on cylinders 1 & 8, well #1 had 185psi which made me happy, now all worried I checked #8, guess what? 145psi, hmm... I wonder why the plug is wet, cuz the F*CKING thing is building enough compression, & also uneven compression makes a rough engine which I have, so there, either a bent valve, bad seat, or bad rings, who cares, I'm thinking of killing something/someone or parting out the car, cuz if anyone of you know me, I haven't had an F-body which I could drive for more then 1 week without it breaking down, so now this wasn't even a week, more like 4 days into this & I find this now, wonderfull, my car is riding on me more then I'm riding on her , so if anyone wants to get my car into their house & pull the one head off & inspect it I"m going to part it out, I've spent way too many hours & countless amount of money that I don't have on this piece of crap for this!!!

This will be swap # 4 in like 2 weeks . Ill tell u what I told him , It will get better and your car is sweet , just leave it for a while and put the big hammer down Seriously , cars can make you insane sometimes but things will get better

i thought about selling my car lots of times cause about 5000 kms after i bought it the head gaskets went at 85000 kms then the starter snapped in 2 peices then one of the back calipers seized then the tranny went, all the synchros and 6th gear and everytime one bulb on my car burns out they all burn out within 2 weeks for some reason like high beams low beams and fog lights, then the drivers seat stop moving back and forth the passanger side window is ready to die the winshield wipers only go down when they want and now i have a hesitation that mne and GM can not find, the pilot bearing is bad and my clutch needs replacing. but i love the car and put up with all of it.
at least you get to mod your car i spend all my money fixing the crap on it.

PS for some reason my tires need replacing like once a yr

f*ckit lets all buy mustangs or neon SRT4s

ps. matt: 185 and 145 uneven compression is probably not even a big deal ... did u open ur TB all the way when cranking the motor ?! i probably have worse compression on my motor .. ur problem is that stupid LTCC .. put ur stock coil back in and try that out ... u've had problems ever since that LTCC .. u never know untill u try dude

ps i called ur house and papa mourat said ur not home .. call me back if ya want.. i was under the car

Dude the LTCC is fine I had this problem with the opti aswell I think, can't remember really, either way I highly doubt its the LTCC, the fact that there is a 40psi difference between cylinders is bad & will cause a rough running motor, but I will try switching back to the opti for sure. I"m pissed off.

That really sucks. The only 'good' thing is that by all your problems, you are probably becoming one of the best sources of LT1 information... you're learning way more than most of us. Small consolation though.

Drop a couple drops of oil in the bad cylinder and do the compression test over. If the compression goes back to norm more then likely your rings are shot if it remains i would look into the heads.

You usually dont want much more then a 10 % difference between cylinders.

regardless i would try the oil first too see if the problem is associzted with bad rings or your heads.
Later
