Looks good. How is the body? Rust? The drivers side looks a little bashed in the pics. I have almost all you need to finish off the Z28 look. Flares, spoiler, black trim, z28 tail lights etc. Also got a set of carmine red seats that are decent if it goes with your future paint scheme. If you do go for the Z28 look I want that upper grille. I dont have an upper for a z28 but maybe we can work something out . I also have the 4spd pedals/linkage/tunnel and driveshaft if you go that route. Oh ya, I got a GM posi rear that needs gears and maybe axles (had some vibration and the 4.56 gears are toast). Buy it complete then you can swap. I got lots of bits and peices too so let me know.
The important question is have you done a good drift in it yet?
Thats what 2nd gens do best.

Ya there is a problem with pushing out the door like that, it was the same on mine, big a$$ crease in it... the thing is there is a reinforced beam in there. would be waaaay cheaper if u just get a good cond' one off a wrecker or something.

Hey I had a 79' Z too, mine was black w/ the red leather
interior & t-tops. Mine had the other style cowl hood &
had a 305 in it , which was spaced for a 350. What style
of rims are you putting on yours?. She'll look sweet when
finished.
Cheers...

Even when they're a little rough, every time I see a late second gen I'm reminded of how much I love them.
