Mission and weather

It is 8.00 AM and I called Mission. It is raining there right now. The weather forecast - I have only checked CKNW - is for gradual improvement starting now ending in cloudy with sunny periods. Personally I think we WILL get to be racing today.

I'm going to stay at home for another hour and then call them. I'll update the site.

Hmm this website has a lot more detailed forecast. Not nearly as hope inspiring. Light rain in the morning, 60% chance of showers in the afternoon although they are only forecasting less then a mm of rain for the day.

I really want to race. Rash gave me driving and set up tips as well as some tuning changes.

Hey Ellis

Yeah I have not been on much.

Outside of burning a bunch of oil, it is starting to come together. I'm going to have to pull the motor in the winter though. Something went wrong. Either the rings did not seat or something was done wrong on installation. Given that it seems to be all 8 rings, it seems like it was a problem with the rings not seating.

But I have to say, the FAST program is very cool. I'll have to show it to you. let me know whe you guys have a dyno day ddown there, I would probably come down for it.

I'll try and see you online.

UPDATE

I spoke to Mission. it is still raining out there although in Vancouver as you know it is breaking up quite well.

He did not sound optomistic. Basically, if they cannot get the day started by 11.00 they will call it a day.

if they get running by 11 then i will probably show for a little while, already paid so might as well race especially if they try and give a rain check i would rather just race today cause there will probably be a lot less cars even if they get going.

I just looked at the live image on their website...anyone up for boat racing? The place is soaked. Are they going to reschedule or refund?

MRP sucks, take it to the streets where you & your street tires belong!

Personally, I'm not regretting that I didn't get to race this year & prolly won't considering mission licks ballz, I'll take my car to the Dyno & then the streets where its safe!
