The overall diameter of your tires should be the same (the tire sidewall will shrink as the rim size increases). To make it look good you will need to drop at least 1" - most people go for 1.5" or so of drop.

hey craig, as in 1quickGT, where are you getting the springs from, and how much are you paying?

i have the supspension techniques springs and i am pretty sur emy car is lower with them, than any of the eibachs will go. but my car is like driving a brick because of them. never bottomed out or rubbed a tire or anything though. they are STIFF
i think it is lower than what they are rated at because compared to other fbods, i think mine looks lower.

Your car is already pretty low for stock . I say get some koni sa shocks for the front and run them on the lower perch and remove the rubber spacer out back with some compressor hose / heater hose or something a bit softer and spend the dough on some koni's for the back too when you can afford . That will give you a 1/2 - 3/4 inch drop and ten times the handleing benifit . The stock shocks suck *** bigtime and should be the first suspension mod imo .
