im glad you did that rather then replace the tumbler like i did

yeah it woudl have been easier if you removed the cluster, you can get both hands in there.

how long did it take you? im sure i can do it in less then 30 minutes now, with my eyes closed

took me about an hour and 45. i got it apart pretty fast but it took me a while to put it back cause i wasnt really paying to much attention to how i took it out. and the screw was a pain to get back in

one thing i noticed while driving today is that i ahev to go back and fix my high beams cause they dont work now. but that is for another day cause i dont really use them. maybe 3-4 times over 4 yrs

all i used to take it out was a screwdriver bit to get out the screw and then the long handle motormaster 8mm wrench and an 8mm socket without the ratchet.

do you remember how the highbeams go back in. i know they go on top of the plate that screws the ignition switch in but im not sure if i put the rod for the high beams in the right place?
