A friend that's temporarily in town needs DIAL-UP access with no long-term commitment. Something reliable, stable and ad-free. He needs an UNLIMITED access package for a reasonable price - if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know ASAP .

yeah who the heck paid for phone line internet anyways?....it was so easy to steal ..... but its rare now haha

 

burn him a copy of the NetZero software, and he can get online for free using dialup........

 

Shaw has a cheaper package I think... supposed to run about 25/month and be about 7 times faster than a dialup modem. I am thinking about doing that myself. I am not home enough to justify paying Telus 55/month. I hardly download anything anymore... I just get my buddies to burn it for me if they have already downloaded it.

I know you specified dialup... for the 25/month, this is a pretty good deal. Unlimited dialup will probably cost almost that much.


EDIT: I don't think you guys have the same cable company over there that we have here on the island. Still worth looking into though.
