Also the old cars were rated with RAW horsepower, meaning that they engine was dynoed wihtout any accessories as apposed to todays engines like the LT1.

the camaros came with iron heads mostly and the corvettes came with aluminum ones mostly, LT1 is iron head and aluminum

1992-’95 350 WITH ALUMINUM HEADS

nope

all F and Y bodies came with alum heads
the B bodies came with iron heads .. aka Impala SS

they are all "LT1" motors with small differences between each body .... (head material, head flow, compression, cam spec etc)

I don't think you can say that fbodies have always been N/A... what about Turbo Trans Am's? Both 2nd and 3rd gens had models with turbo's on them.

IMO stangs, camaros and firebirds/trans-ams are and always will be, muscle cars. thats how they started, and thats how they still are. cheap speed (well, not counting the price of the new ss and cobra ). i fully support a BCMMA (BC modern muscle car asc.)
