I never realized how clueless they really are!
So my fiance, April, and I are walking out of the bowling alley here in Vancouver, WA around 10pm on Friday night. When we arrived we parked next to a nice black LT1 car with what looked like a Flowmaster catback on it and hoped we'd catch whoever owned it on our way out. (anyone on here?)
Instead of getting our wish, we see a couple teenage boys with their Integras out talking about two spaces from us. We walk by and over to the Z, and I'm about to open April's door when one of the kids turns to us.
Kid: Is that thing pretty quick?
Me: Yeah, it does alright.
Kid: Think it could beat a GSR Integra? *puts his hand proudly on his roof*
April: *tries not to laugh*
Me: Yeah, probably. Want to find out?
Kid: *gets look of disbelief on his face* You have a turbo or something?
Me: Nope.
Kid: You got a V6 or a V8 or something?
Me: *glaces at white reflective Z28 emblem* Just a V8.
Kid: Oh, well, there's not really anywhere to try around here anyways.
Me: Highway 14 is a mile south, that's where I'm headed.
Kid: *changes subject* You have anything done to that? Like intake and stuff?
Me: Yeah a few things.
Kid: *lists off some various mods he had, none of which included a turbo or large N20 shot which might have made things interesting*
Me: Ah cool. *gets in car, rolls window down*
Kid: *Gets in his car*
So I'm thinking alright, I get to go have a little fun. I start my car and to let it warm up for a second. Oops, guess I left my cutout open. Both kids look over, drive off toward the parking lot exit and take off in the opposite direction of the highway.
My first interaction with a ricer that didn't just involve dirty looks, them throwing revs, or me laughing at them. I thought maybe some of these kids were just in denial. They really DO think they have fast cars don't they? *sigh*
Anyway, anyone on here own a black 93-96 Z28 that was at the bowling alley in Vancouver Fri night? (I think its called Crosley Lanes) We were in lane 7, April has red/blonde highlighted hair and I have a shaved head and was bowling 40's the whole time. (I suck at bowling)

You know its too bad there are some great guys that are really knowledgable that drive some bad *** rice mobiles and the idiots make them look bad. Ever notice when one of them gets in a wreck "racing" it is always on a rainy busy road. The guys that really race out in the middle of no where don't get into these accidents.....
Speaking of ricers there is a Mustang V6 white that has a shogun kit euro lights and a big wing it doesn't even LOOK like a mustang anymore my girl starting argueing that it was an Integra!!! Amazing!
