I use a higher capacity Purolator filter. Figured more filtering area should be a good thing.

The big PH-35 filter on our cars & its almost twice the size, LS1's dont' need a big filter cuz they are alluminum & their oil dones't get that hot like our cars, but then again Impala LT1's have small oil filters cuz of the oil cooler adapter.

Either way, only some walmarts sell AC-DELCO I know the one in north vancouver, does & some other places.

Another one for delco. The Fram ones are junk. They use cardboard endcaps in the filters. Delco also makes a synthetic fibre filter which is supposed to be pretty good as well. I just use the standard ones.

PF-58C at Walmart (AC Delco). I think the PF-44C is stock, but is too tiny.
