Still seems a little high - I've only seen (or heard of) less than 10% of cars around that. That's why I'm wondering how many runs you guys did. If this was only one or two runs, then no big deal... but if you've done 10 runs on different days with different gas in the tank, and you still have the same numbers then that could cause enough detonation for the goofy sensors. It would also explain why you really need 94. Thats just my suggestion.

Hey Chriss,

We only tapped the car twice , before and after a plug swap.

At full throttle the timing settles down quite a bit but at cruise 30 - 35 degrese of advance is seen. I think your right, we should re tap it with the higher octain fuel and if it still knocks go from there.

Amits car runs like a top and sucks your teeth out at WOT . Its definatly not sick or loosing tons of power . From what I understand its also a city car so it gets alot of short trips where it doesnt get up to temp or get a chance to wind itself out .

Maybe some sea foam , a beating and some 94 octain will make it happy . . .

Ah, those readings weren't at WOT above 30 degrees? Mostly at cruise?

Big difference. I thought this was at WOT.

One day we'll have to get all these LS1's together and run 'em.

looking at logs from last night, at cruise I am seeing up to 42* of timing with zero KR.

at WOT, I get 27-30 depending on RPM with no KR N/A or on nitrous.
