Horsepower Calculator
You guys may have seen this already but, if not it is pretty cool. It came damn close to my dyno sheet.

That is pretty close, according to that with my car running right now it is making 311rwhp, can't wait to get to the dyno to test that
and my previous time with the bad MAF matches my previous dyno numbers.....
and my previous time with the bad MAF matches my previous dyno numbers.....
According to that, I have 417 at the crank and 321 to the wheels. According to GM, my engine should make 430 at the crank. Not bad for dropping the engine in and throwing on a stock Edelbrock 750. Being that I have a missing problem, and that my timing is set conservativly, I figure I should be able to achieve the 430 that GM rated the engine at
(and run a 12.79
)

Cool.....
Horsepower Results - 1/4 Mile Method
Your camaro weighs about 3600 pounds and can complete a 1/4 mile in about 13.62 seconds. That means that you've got about 281.62 HP at the wheels, and about 366.10 HP at the flywheel.

Mine is just about perfect...
I ran 13.6 in calgary @ race city, which is about a 13 flat @ sea level... My car weights about 3000 lbs based on ICBC scales, and I had the car dyno'd the same time I was racing in calgary...
13.0, weighing 3000 lbs
shows 269 hp at the wheels
I pulled 267 at the wheels
I agree, it will ONLY work if your car is tuned well enough to give a decent 1/4 time
Either due to a misfire/bad driving/wheel spin/etc...

My 95 camaro, yup...
Or so says ICBC scales @ air care... I can't remember the exact kg figure now, but i have it at home...
My car is a 100% stripper car... power nothing... the only options from the factory were z-rated tires (no speed limit) and the same paint color for the roof and mirrors.
not even so much as a remote trunk release... No AC, no power windows, no power locks, no leather, nothing... single cat, borla exhaust. I even had the spare tire and jack in the car when i was air cared.
it is VERY light
hence my times... 13.6 @ 102 in calgary, with stock manifolds when 4th gen header cars can't break into the 13's at all (most are running mid 14's)... and LS1's even have trouble breaking 13 second 1/4's...
But i agree, I would like to get the car weighted again, cause 3050 (I think thats the figure I came out to, multipling the kg weight by 2.25) is very light. Altho, i have seen online documentation showing a base Z around 31-3200 lbs

LT1 equipped cars easily do 13's with headers and if they can't it isn't the car it is Driver. Stock LT1 cars should go 14.0 all day long. As well stock LS1's easily pull 13's bone stock. Perry went 13.3 in his 2001 WS6 Convert which weighed in at 3800 pounds, only mods are a lid and borla
I would say weigh your car at mission raceway and make a run there as well. 3000 is very light....... I need to take some ppounds off my car this winter as well.

I guess the only true measure is the good ol' dyno
