This is a lesson to all f-body owners. Don't lend your car out. Especially someone who's inexperienced driving a fast car. People get hurt, insurance rates go through the roof and your friendship could be ruined.

I am more then willing to take the damage of the porsche upon myself as far as icbc is concerned... I would, however, like to know what, if anything, he is planing to do in regards to the damages on my vehicle. I am concerned for the owner of the porsche & will be having the accident reflect on my drivers licence / insurance premiums, but fail to see why (since I am holding myself accountable for the damages on his vehicle) why whoever it was that was driving my vehicle should not be held accountable for the damage they did to it. Am I being un-reasonable in this regard?
Glad to see your taking responsibility. I also hope you understand why people will gladly point out the some of th estupidity of your actions. I for one, think that the whole situation was ridiculous, especially considering how many cars where swapped and by how many people. But it is good to see that you have learned a lesson? or learned something from it we hope. So good job on owning up to what happened, and good luck in the whole situation

Thanx allot man... If I had known the circumstances in which he had came in possetion of that car then I would have thought twice about trading. The entire exchange took place in a matter of about 2 minutes, he asked me to meet him in a parking lot & since I wasn't busy i agreed. When I met him he asked to take my car in exchange for the porsche & within minutes he was gone in my car. I became a bit weary driving around in the porsche as he said he needed to use my car as he was going to the island & the porsche was too "heaty"... I didn't quite pick up on that until he was already gone.

I regret it now, but since there is nothing I can do about it I'll just fess up, take the brute of my actions & think of it as a lesson in life. 1. Never trade cars with your friends & 2.Never deter from my drivin miss daisy ways on regular streets.

Why must lifes lessons always be so tough.. I suppose we wouldn't learn if they weren't.
