Damn. Tough break Mike. Glad Mike and Johnny were so helpful.

I broke the bolt for my TB one time. I thought it said ft-lbs but it was actually INCH-lbs! Nuts. Sheered the head right off.

Yeah, I was going to ask how did it break with only 20ft/lbs of torque??? They must be fragile.
But good to hear you're almost done

The diameter of the bolt is 6mm (actually, slightly less) and there is 1 thread every millimeter. The tap drill size is 5mm. To determine the tap drill size for metric threads, subtract the pitch from the diameter.

If you can't get everything back in shape, I'd be happy to take it into work and throw it on the manual mill. If all ya need is a tap, let me know and I'll lend you one.

Thanks Erik..Mike helped me out with the tools..it's all good now, but the issues now is that when I drilled out the old bolt, it fell through the head...now the thing is I don't know where the bolt is...in the oil pan, piston..not sure..I can't believe the intake bolt holes are drilled right through head, or are they ..so this point I don't know
