Angry Help With Lug Studs

Ahh Crap !! I screwed my lug studs up on my front drivers side wheel . Two are stripped out !! This pisses me off !! Does anybody know all the stud sizes for our cars , Im thinking I will have the back studs swapped out for 1/4 - 1/2 inch longer hardened ones like in the Mr Gasket book . Has anybody done this ?? Do you have to pull the axles to swap the studs in the rear or can you just bangem out and press em in ??

EDIT __ Need to know KNURL SIZE / Diameter and Drill hole sizes and how long are the stock lug studs front and rear ?? I doubt anybody knows this off the top of there head but worth a try !!

Thanks

Really ?? I was told they are the same length as factory just threaded all the way to the end without the stupid factory 1/2 " nipple decoration . . . therefore 1/2 inch longer ?? Ill post what we find out compared to the sockers tonight !!

2.5" is long. And the 'decoration' you're talking about is meant to help get lugs on without stripping the stud. And the ARP ones have it too. Maybe getting ones for that matter.

The ARP's i have on my car (i think i'll install them next weeked) are 3 1/4" long... that's DAMN long, but they look sweeeeeet and when I'm changing tires at the track my life won't suck as bad as with these stock ones...
