Hey there Shawn, the 17x11 ZR1 rims came with the car
when the previous owner ordered the car @ the dealer
ship. As far as I can tell from the paper work, they were
part of the SLP package he ordered, they're awesome
wheels but they sure follow every groove in the road.
PS, she's never parked alone for too long .
85MustangGT, the colour of my f-bod is Rally Red with black
t-tops.

Are you sure your not mistaken. Because I have the Zr1 rims option too, from SLP. The SLP option wheels are 17X9.5. The 17X11's fit a 315/35/17 tire. I want those for the rear.

Hey Shawn, thats the info I was given by the guy I bought
the car from. I checked the SLP stickers on the doors &
engine bay but it doesn't say the wheel size on it.
Update: I just went down to my garage & measured the
rims, they measured 10" from inner lip to outer lip w/
275/40/zr17 rubber. Now i'm pissed.
Sorry for the screw up.

Hey thanks shawn, Now I'm looking for true 17x11's.
Any more thought's on someone to do a header or gauge
install?, I think I'm going to give the Edelbrock's a try
and see how they perform.
Cheers...
