Angry Hals leaking.

Bloody hell. I have about 5 - 6 months of road use on the Hals but I bought them about 16 months ago.

The DS shock is leaking.

Cost is about $60 US plus shipping to repair.

Well I think it was leaking before the auto x. i noticed it when I was putting the R1's on. Candidly, at the time, I thought it was a leaking caliper but I checked the brake fluid level and it was fine.

The Hal people said I can still run around on the leaky shock for a while. Given I'll be taking the car off the road late Sept / Oct I think I'll just leave it.

Did you buy them new? If you send it in for repairs, what's the turn around time? Will they give you a warranty on the repairs?

Heard of it happening on a few occasions. Its basically taking a chance cause of being a rebuildable shock and they are trying to save money somehow.
