Thumbs up good news regarding my court

I went there today to try to get it adjourned and get full disclosure from the PO .... then i asked the lady at the desk ... why does it say (Ottawa) in front of the PO's name on my letter !? she goes .. cuz he got transferred to ottawa

i would assume that he wont fly 2000 miles for a court date

my court is on tuesday .. lets hope he doesnt get transferred back in the meantime

and FYI : regarding the lengthy delay .. the lady in the courtroom told me that the supreme court had recently ruled that 16 or 18 months is acceptable (she didnt remember exactly which one it was) ...

congrats! don't get too cocky though. the judge can still charge you based on any submitted evidence

I'm pretty sure the cop has to be there. 1 of my tickers was excessive or excessive speeding and the crown wanted to prosecute me!! To bad the cop didn't show up, he had a folder full of ****, didn't seem to help.

If the cop isn't there to be cross-examined, the case will be thrown out regardless of how much evidence is submitted. Without witnesses there is no case against him.
