I just found an 02 SS convert triple black with an M6 for 26K..shows 65K on it..is that a good deal?

Considering that car would have been around 60,000 brand new (assuming all SLP options ordered) I'd have to say yes. Besides, how many 02 SS vert blackies do you see?

I never saw them that high.

I'd say 26G's is high for a five year old car.

 

I looked at an 02 SS, black paint, 6 speed, black leather, with every SLP option except it was a coupe and it was 57K (after taxes)

Yeah, and you wonder why sales were down in the last few years.

 

That's not too far off. My new '01 Firehawk convertible with all SLP options (Eibach/Bilstein/Auburn/Diff Cover/Hurst/and all GM options TCS, stacker, leather, everything possible, was listed at $54,700. Taxes on that price would have made it $60,000. Not what anybody would actually pay though...

That SS is a good buy.
