getting short term ins. is a bitch...

I called my insurance broker to to see how much it would be to get my car on the road for this month cuz Im goin home for the holidays...

the min. theyll sell is 3 months or a permit for $30/day. that is crap!

Might just work out a deal with my mom to insure my car for both of us then she can park her camaro for the winter.

that means theyll have 4 cars insured for driving at our house.. atleast we gotta 3 car garage!

Still that is crap. I wanted a deal on about 3 weeks insurance dammit

it doesnt really matter if you dont mint turning your plates in every time and paying a plate fee every time you get insurance. personally a licence plate means something to the car, its a part of it. my 79 has had the same plate for 5 years and i intend to keep it on there for the life of the car. whenever i get a new car, i get a new plate and when the car goes the plate is retired

I HAD a sexy plate once... but had to give it up a couple years ago. I had it since my first car in highschool

Now I dont care, pick out a new decent sounding plate...

$18 & "oopsy.. I need to change my 12plan to storage after 2 weeks..."
is ok, better than the 2 chump options they gave me!

didnt spell out anything... just some good letters and fav numbers a V, a 8, a 9..etc.
I want one that subliminally says "JVE"

....hey guys, wouldnt they kinda get suspicious if you keep getting autoplan12-then cancelling within less that a month? did you get a full refund on the time you didnt use when you put it back on storage??? Any fees besides a new plate fee each time??
