Hey zturbo, that is precisely what I would do next time, if there ever is a next time.
Thanks sleeperZ,

oldschool, yep, that was I. I still haven’t had my day in court regarding that. They pulled my ride for two days plus my licence for 9 months, but when I asked for a relaxation, they reduced it to four months. I was driving again as of Nov 21.

I had to pay 117 dollars to get my licence back and even then, I had to get my birth certificate to prove that I was me. I had never owned a birth certificate till then, and it took me several months to get it. And all this after having a BC drivers licence for some32 years.

Done Rabar
haha thats crazy
Damn ICBC

Oldschool, I lost, plain and simple! I had Russ in first, I had Russ in second, I had Russ in third, but about 100 yards prior to the finish line, my nose dropped and he went flying past me, then my motor caught again and I was only a length behind him at the finish! I was running a Carter part #4600hp - 100 gallons per hour free flow for my primary supply. I ran lean. This was only my second attempt with nawz.

Several of my plug electrodes were melted off at the end of the race. Oh well, such is life, live and learn! I have corrected my lean situation, want to play?

Russ upped his program the following week-end with an additional 125 shot, (I think) and ran a 9.37 @ 147m.p.h., I think. Don’t quote me, I am only going with what I heard! Actually he didn’t even drive the car cause of the fact that he had no drivers license! His buddy Trevor drove it. Again, only hear-say. I never witnessed it. I have no reason to doubt it, it is just that it isn’t coming from me.
