For an m6 is it best to go w/ 4.10's or 3.73's??

How will it be on the hwy, etc?

Thanks,

Oliver

for ur car .. 4.10s .. if u didnt have a hotcam i'd say 3.73s

i LOVE my 4.10s .. i do not regret them whatsoever over my old 3.73s .. and i hated my 3.42s

Depends on what your looking for. Personally Iwas thinking 3.73, but 4.10 are looking tempting. It's a good thing we have 6th gear for the freeway. Although I will decide after actually driving a car (6spd) with both types of gears.

Based on my reading the consensus seems to be the following.

4.10's for M6 NA.
3.73's for forced induction M6.

3.73's for Auto NA
3.42's for forced induction A4

Of course Perry has 4.10's on his blown 383 Auto. Man he doesn't get traction until he hammers it into FOURTH. LOL

All I can say is bye bye rear end. Getting steeper gears multiplies the torque of your motor...at your power level + a little traction = a couple teeth trying to shoot through your rear-end cover.
